Elon Musk’s Confirms Xmail; Will it be the Gmail Killer?

The word Xmail has been thrown out a lot recently, it was backed by none other than Elon Musk. The idea of the biliary backing something does put a lot of attention to the product. Since the product here is an email service, people are expecting to get a lot out of it.

The details are still hazy about the direction of Xmail or any other data regarding the product. But this week, finally musk did make a comment about Xmail and its release in the future.

Engaging in a conversation on his social media platform X, musk did say Xmail is coming. It can be seen as another marketing tactic that Musk has previously used on various occasions. Releasing Xmail will not be a surprise at all, as recently the world faced rumours about Google shutting down Gmail.

The fake image of Gmail being shut down was circulating on various corners of the internet. The possibilities of another Mail platform were in discussion, now a senior member of a security team of X, Nathan McGrady questioned Musk about the launch date of Xmail.

Must respond to the question by confirming Xmail is on the way. This could shake the mail service on the internet. As people have become reliant on Gmail for their go-to service since many Google services are attached to the mail service.

X users were honest about the Xmail, as the loudest voices on the internet seemed to anticipate the Xmail to dethrone the long-running Gmail out of the game. Looking at tweets from users clearly shows people are hungry for a new service that rejuvenates the Email game, and most of them seem to put all of their chips into Musk’s corner.

Can Gmail survive against Xmail?

A possible dethrone of Gmail could lead to plenty of things, as the new Xmail has a huge boulder it would have to carry on its back to meet the standard set by Google. The team will have to replicate all the engaging features of Gmail and somehow make it better and unique compared to what is offered by Gmail.

The track record here has not been kind for musk, as the purchase of Twitter has made plenty of people feel iffy about the future of the platform. While musk has made changes; but most of them were vehemently ridiculed from many old users. Xmail here has to be a leap when it comes to email services without making any sort of sacrifice on the quality of the mail service.

We may not know when we are going to see or experience Xmail service on the Internet. But ever since the confirmation by Musk, the speculation game can now be focused on the sheer amount of features under the tool.
