Mark Zuckerberg reviews the Apple Vision Pro & Meta Quest 3

Just a few hours ago, Mark Zuckerberg compared the newly launched Apple Vision Pro to the Meta Quest 3. This month has been hectic, as the launch of Apple vision pro has many wonder about its future and the probable new devices or software updates we might get to experience. Since the recent hack of Vision Pro has made, plenty of people have some skeptical thoughts on the security of the product.

Meta Quest 3 is also a prominent competitor to Apple products, while both may share the same category but things are different apart. Many people already reached the conclusion of viewing the Apple Vision pro for being a better product, while others are still waiting for a solid review between them. Here comes Mark Zuckerberg to share his two cents on both products in the market.

While some may think comparing vision pro to meta quest is like apples and oranges, Zuckerberg had a different insight to both of the products. He did let us know how he viewed Meta Quest 3 for being a clear winner to Apple vision pro.

In a new Instagram video, Zuckerberg finally puts on the Apple Vision pro to give his fair assessment on the product. Zuckerberg thinks Meta Quest 3 is a much better option for the consumer in every aspect compared to the Apple vision.

“I finally tried Apple Vision Pro, and I think the Quest 3 is the better product, despite being seven times less expensive,”.

It’s important to know before putting on the headset, he had expected for the Meta Quest 3 to be a better value product to the Vision Pro. But after testing it, the results or the expectation stayed the same. Mark reached the conclusion of proclaiming Quest 3 to be a far better product in the market.

He laid importance to Quest 3 for being better at video games, moving around, and the community aspect of the device. Apple Vision pro high-resolution pass-through feature also present in the Meta Quest 3.

Zuckerberg went on to mention the weight of the Meta Quest, the machine here weighs less than the vision pro, 120 grams less to be precise. When it comes to comfortability of wearing the headgear, Meta Quest 3 is more comfortable to have it on for a long time.

He went on to say about the Meta Quest 3 having no wires so it makes the user easier to get around without being bogged down by technical hindrance. The field of view of Quest 3 is wider and it comes with brighter screens compared to Apple Vision Pro. Ability to play Xbox games is an option available for the Meta Quest users.

Zuckerberg on the positives of Apple Vision Pro

Zuckerberg did have some good things to say about Apple Vision Pro. He admits that Apple’s product has a higher resolution screen and eye tracking feature. But assured the future Meta Quest devices to come with the eye tracking capabilities.

It’s good to know Mark Zuckerberg praising some aspects of Apple Vision pro not by dismissing it, but by admitting it. Which leads to healthier products entering the market in the future.

Zuckerberg reached the conclusion by saying the Meta Quest 3 is an open model AR headset, while on the other side, Vision Pro is a closed-model device. He views both devices as mac and pcs. He threw some shade at the fans of Apple who thought Apple vision pro is a better product than Meta Quest 3 ‘Because it is from Apple and costs $3000 more’.
